Why can’t they make the maps on the plane interactive? I don’t care about the global view or the temperature and local time where I’m headed: I just want to look at the closest most detailed map they have.

Be nice if the little plane were flying over satellite photos, as well.
While they’re at it, they should give you a little steering wheel, so if there’s something cool below you want to check out, you can steer the plane closer.
